After an eight-year hiatus, the Asbury Music Awards are set to return to the Stone Pony on February 20. Presented by the Asbury Park Music Foundation, the event will reimagine the musical celebration, which was launched in 1993 by founders Peter Mantas and Scott Stamper.

According to the foundation’s official music awards landing page, “…the event celebrates the artists who keep Asbury’s legendary music scene alive while also raising funds to provide life-changing music education to underserved youth in our community.”

This year’s event will recognize the year that was in the Asbury Park music community by honoring a cast of nominees across 35 different categories. Under the Boardwalk will regularly update this post as nominee lists are made available.
